Following a brilliant day at Sheffield Fayre last year, ASSIST will be returning to Norfolk Heritage Park on Monday 31 August for another day of community, connection and fun.
Sheffield Fayre is a much-loved celebration bringing people together from across the city for a family-friendly day out, with entertainment, activities and plenty to enjoy in one of Sheffield’s beautiful parks. It's also free to attend!
We’ll be hosting a stall throughout the day, giving us the chance to meet people from across the wider Sheffield community, share more about our work and talk about how we can all stand in solidarity with people seeking sanctuary.
At ASSIST, we believe that everyone deserves a safe home, community, and the freedom to thrive. We work alongside people seeking asylum who have been made destitute, providing accommodation, practical support, welfare assistance and opportunities to build community and rebuild their futures.
