We're delighted that ASSIST has been chosen as one of three charities supported by this year's Bishop's Garden Party, hosted by Bishop of Sheffield, Rt Revd Dr Pete Wilcox and Catherine Fox.
Funds raised from the event will be shared equally between ASSIST (of which Bishop Pete is a Patron), The Archer Project (supporting homeless and vulnerable people with crisis care and pathways to stable futures), and Doncaster Refurnish (restoring donated furniture to provide affordable goods and reduce waste to the community).
This bi-annual community event promises a wonderful afternoon for all ages, with live music, refreshments, children's activities, stalls, a raffle, a silent auction, and the chance to enjoy the beautiful gardens at Bishopscroft.
ASSIST will be there throughout the afternoon, so if you're attending, please stop by our stall to say hello, learn more about our work, and meet our team.
