ASSIST is recruiting a Grants Officer!
Job Title: Grants Officer (Maternity Cover for up to 12 months)
Responsible to: Resource Manager
Hours: 7 hours a week
Salary: £18,500 pa (salary stated is for full time equivalent, this rate would be pro-rata’d for 7 / 35 )
Line Managed by: Resource Manager
Responsible for: Grants team volunteers
Location: ASSIST Sheffield, Victoria Hall Methodist Church, Norfolk St, Sheffield
This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills to make a real difference to a vibrant local charity which supports destitute asylum seekers. As Grants Officer, you will work with the Resource Manager and the Grants team, and use your experience and knowledge to apply for grants and funding to provide finance to enable the work of the charity. You will also be able to report back to funders on the achievements of ASSIST.
You’ll be confident working independently, but equally able to work as a team, and to effectively support volunteers who are developing their skills.
You’ll be an excellent report writer able to communicate in an engaging manner. You’ll have great organisational skills and be able to research potential funders.
