ASSIST invited to partner a performance of The Transports

The Winding Wheel Theatre, Chesterfield on Saturday 20 January 2018.

The Transports is a tale of exile and migration. This re-working of Peter Bellamy’s 1977 folk ballads features a new generation of folk musicians, including The Young’uns, Faustus, Nancy Kerr, Rachael McShane, Greg Russell and Matthew Crampton. It is a highly acclaimed production that received a 5 star review in The Guardian and has prompted standing ovations around the country.

At each performance location, the cast link with a local refugee or migrant support group. We’re delighted to have been invited to be the link group and to have a presence at the Chesterfield performance and we look forward to chatting to audience members.
