It’s time to book your tickets for our big event of the year! For our 2017 Fundraising Dinner we are using a new venue and we have engaged new caterers, The Real Junk Food Project. Once again we are celebrating Refugee Week and the work of ASSIST, but because Refugee Week once again falls during Ramadan we’ve chosen a slightly later date.

Do you feel that your community group, school, college, congregation or other organisation should hear first-hand about the experience of seeking asylum? Would you like to spread the truth about why asylum seekers in our city become destitute? Would you like to know more about the work ASSIST does to support them? Nothing conveys the reality of life as an asylum seeker as powerfully as hearing the story of someone who has first-hand experience.
